Carne Press was an independent publishing label founded in Valencia, Spain. The label focused on self-publishing fanzines and photobooks to distribute worldwide. The label attended several Spanish independent publishing fairs such as Tenderete and Libros Mutantes.
Also in 2013, Carne Press received the INJUVE grant from the Spanish government, which helps finance project for new creators in the art industry.
Carnicería St. was a collective self-published fanzine about digital art and internet aesthetics printed in Valencia by Carne Press.
Comprised of 5 numbers released between 2013 and 2015 the premise was to collect digital art from artists from all over the world regarding a common theme by releasing an open call via social media platforms.
After gaining the grant by INJUVE that allowed Carniceria St. to be printed. Carne Press was invited to display their work in the RESET exhibition in Madrid which gathered the rest of the winners from the INJUVE grant. This video was a social media call for people to visit the exhibition.
